Brief Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Kochi and Travel to Munnar.
Day 2 : Exploring Munnar.
Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady and Sightseeing.
Day 4 : Thekkady to Alleppey and Sightseeing.
Day 5 : Alleppey to Kochi, Sightseeing and Departure .
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 :
On arrival at the airport/Train station, hop on to a waiting Vehicle. The weather gets transformed from hot humid heat to a pleasant temperate climate as you ascend into the hills.(140 Kms. 5 Hrs.) After a brief halt at the Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls proceed to Munnar.
(Afternoon) – Visit to Spice Plantation, Wonder Valley Adventure & Amusement Park.
Transfer to hotel and overnight stay at Munnar ( Anachal Area ).
Day 2 :
Overnight Stay at Munnar
Have breakfast in the morning.
Visit the Rajamalai National Park. While inside the park, enjoy breath-taking view of the Anamudi peak (the highest peak south of the Himalayan range) with a flowing silver cascading fall is a delight to the eyes.
Head to Chocolate Factory.
Visit Photo Point, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts.
Visit Mattupetty dam, on the way down visit Echo Point and Rose Garden.
Visit Kundala Dam and later visit Kannan Devan Tea Museum provides an interesting insight about the history, culture, Tea plantation and tea processing. (Subject to time availability)
Over Night stay at Munnar.
Day 3 :
After breakfast, head to Thekkady. (Forenoon) ( 110 Kms. 3 Hrs.)

(Afternoon) – Proceed to Periyar Tiger Reserve and enjoy the boat ride in the Periyar Lake. Get to see the flora and fauna from the safety of the boat.
Visit the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre and get treated to a show of art and culture of Kerala. You can see shows of Kalaripayattu and Kathakali.
Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 4 :
Have breakfast, Travel to Alleppey (180 Kms – 4.5 Hrs.)
Enroute acquaint yourself with the different kinds of herbs grown in the region.
Proceed to Alleppey and check into your resort in the afternoon.
Enjoy country boat ride in Alleppey backwaters.
Visit Marari or Alleppey beach.
Overnight stay in Alleppey resort.
Highlight - Departure
Day 5 :
Check out by 09.00 am from resort, Proceed to Kochi (Subject to time availability visit Alleppey Beach or Marari
Beach in morning ).
Arrive by forenoon to Fort Kochi. Unique Chinese fishing nets can be seen. You will need a bit of luck
to see the fishermen harvesting the produce.
Take a short walk-through Fort Kochi, and see the architectural beauty of the Santa Cruz Basilica.
Proceed to Mattancherry, and get to see the Dutch Palace. The palace showcases the history of the region in the 14/15th century A.D.
A walk on the Jew Street will re live the nostalgic memories of the Jew settlers of that period. The Jew synagogue and the cemetery can also be visited, which has inscription from the Hebrew language.
In the evening hours visit the Marine Drive.
By evening Proceed to Cochin Airport / Railway Station for your onward Destination. ( As per your flight schedule )
